Moscow, Russia – Meeting with Scientists in the Panel on Nuclear Disarmament. Academy of Sciences, Latin American Institute
On December 18, 2006 the Campaign for European Nuclear Disarmament was introduced in Moscow. WWW contributed to organizing this presentation, and also offered a contribution in the Panel on Nuclear Disarmament held at the Moscow Academy of Sciences Latin American Institute.

Madrid, Spain – Conference on “Economy, Politics and Disarmament” – UNED - Madrid
Argentine economist Guillermo Sullings presented this conference in the Hall of Acts of the Associated Center at UNED’s “Escuelas Pías” (Pias Schools) in Madrid, at the invitation of UNED in an activity promoted by WWW.
2006 - 5 November
Lisbon, Portugal – European Humanist Forum
Introduction of WWW in Europe at the First European Humanist Forum, attended by representatives of all European countries as well as by delegations from other continents.
Throughout the forum WWW manned a booth displaying materials and productions from its campaigns.

Quito, Ecuador – First Latin American Regional Forum
Introduction of WWW in Latin America at the First Latin American Regional Forum, attended by representatives from every Latin American country as well as by delegations from other continents.
The Humanist Education Forum helped coordinate the working table Education for Nonviolence, taking responsibility for virtual contributions.

2006 - 20 October
Moscow, Russia – Meeting: “Violence and Tolerance – History, Current Situation, and Future Perspectives”
WWW organized and participated in this meeting in collaboration with the Humanist Center of Studies and the Pangea Foundation. The meeting was held at Friends of the Peoples University in Moscow.
2006 - 30 September
Madrid, Spain – Open Humanist Forum
WWW participated with a contribution at the Working Table on “Nuclear and Conventional Disarmament” and manned a booth throughout the forum displaying materials from its campaigns.

2006 – 21-23 April
Madrid, Spain - International Days of Education and Nonviolence IV. UNED
This conference included the participation of 14 universities and 54 other institutions and organizations from 28 different cities in 21 European, African and American countries, forming 46 thematic working tables. Eleven working tables participated in Madrid. Approximately 3000 persons participated in some way in all the countries where the event was celebrated.

Madrid, Spain - Days of Education and Nonviolence III. UNED
Co-organized by UNED, WWW and the Humanist Education Forum and increasing both the number of participants and the involvement of other universities and institutions from Spain and Latin America.

Madrid, Spain – Conference On Touring Latin America by Bicycle
Luis Markina and Emilia Curiel told about their American trek for “World Without Wars” in a conference held at the Travelers’ Bookstore in Madrid.

2003 - 4 and 7 March
Spain – Congress on "Humanism for the 21st Century" – University of Deusto – Bilbao
Aurora Marquina, as a lecturer of UNED and member of WWW, presented a lecture on the theme "Valid action and coherent behavior” in this congress organized by the School of Philosophy and Educational Sciences.
2003 – March
Spain – Days On Nonviolence – Burgos Cultural Center (Casa de la Cultura de Burgos)
A seminar on the problems between Iraq and the Kurdish people. Organized by WWW. Greenpeace produced the graphic materials for the seminar. At the closing of the seminar, a silent march of 30 persons filed through the city.

“From Mexico to Bolivia: A Journey for Peace," by Emilia Curiel and Luis Markina.
Emilia and Luis started out by bicycle from Burgos to get to know the other places bearing the name of Burgos that are hidden in the Americas. For nine months they traveled 13,000 km., crossing jungles, deserts and snow-capped mountains to spread peace and a world without wars.
2002 - 19 October
Madrid, Spain - Days of Education and Nonviolence I - UNED
Organized by UNED with the collaboration of WWW and the Humanist Education Forum, these Days were the international starting point of a campaign for Education for Nonviolence that had been launched in Madrid years before. The Days took place at the School of Political Sciences and Sociology of the UNED in Madrid.

Organized by UNED with the collaboration of WWW and the Humanist Education Forum, these Days were the continuation and fine tuning of the project initiated in 2002. The celebration took place at the Andrés Manjón Center of the UNED in Madrid.
