The wars and the arms build-up affect negatively in the economy of
the peoples on having absorbed budgets that should go to
education, health, culture and to improve the life. Nevertheless,
the influence that the industry
armamentista has on the governments and the society does that
the producing countries of weapon press to support the conflicts and
this way to consume, to use and to experiment with his armaments
simultaneously that disguise his greed with theories on the
inevitable, necessary thing or even the fair of the conflicts armed
for his economies. In the beginning of the third millenium, far from
calming down, the conflicts in different fields (economic, ethnic or
religious) they tend to increase. The same happens with the
terrorism. In turn, and much tied to the model who proposes, the
violence in the civil society increases going to unimaginable
extremes years behind. If there is no change of direction, the
future will bring more and more violent confrontations in different
fields and in all the latitudes.
It is more than demonstrated that the famine in the world
might be solved by 10 % of what wears out in armaments. Can
we imagine if 30 or 50 % will be destined, to improve the life
of the people instead of applying it in destruction?
After
centuries of violence, it is difficult to imagine the peace.
Nevertheless: why not to be employed at this direction
intencionando to change the course of the history,
constructing a real future of peace and non-violence?
We think that this is our responsibility as human beings.
To be defined against the war has sense, it is ethical,
coherent and urgent, considering the way that the events are
taking. We assume this responsibility
freely and take her forward with all those that push all form of
violence back and bet for the coexistence, the shared
development, the real democracy, the technology on the service
of the science and the science on the service of the human being
and of the peace.
It is up to us to denounce to the violent
minorities, to isolate them and to press them so that
redirecionen his political warmongers towards the human
development.
A world without wars is a world till now not known on the planet
Earth. To eliminate the wars will represent to go out
definitively of the human prehistoric times and to pass of giant
in the evolutionary way of our species.
